Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled contract manager to oversee contractual aspects of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer contracts for construction packages
* Manage subcontractor agreements and variations
* Process and evaluate change orders and contract modifications
* Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and design teams
* Monitor contract compliance and deliverable milestones
* Prepare and review contract documentation, amendments, and extensions
* Manage payment applications and certificate processes
* Maintain comprehensive contract records and correspondence
* Resolve contractual disputes and claims related to construction works
* Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations
* Support procurement activities for construction packages
* Coordinate with project management and commercial teams
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years contract administration experience
* Construction industry background, preferably in pharmaceutical industrial projects
* Knowledge of construction processes and terminology
* Experience with standard construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, or similar)
* Strong analytical and negotiation skills
* Proficient in contract management software and MS Office Suite
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
* Fluent English required; French, Dutch language skills beneficial
* Valid EU work authorization
* Degree, diploma in Construction Management, Law, or related field
* Professional certification in Contract Administration
* Experience with pharmaceutical facility construction
* Knowledge of Belgian construction regulations
