We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civils Supervisor
with ESB CL1 & CL2 / Level E (PIWC) authorisation
to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of civil engineering projects within the ESB sector across the midlands. This role requires a strong background in managing civil projects ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based out of our Portlaoise office. The Civil Supervisor will oversee site operations, ensure the implementation of quality control measures, and monitor daily site activities to ensure projects progress efficiently and safely. The role requires leading and interacting with on-site teams, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supervising the execution of project-specific tasks within specified timelines.
Qualifications
* Experience in civil construction.
* Strong Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision experience
* Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies in the electricity transmission industry.
* Proficiency in overseeing On-Site operations and implementing Quality Control processes
* Effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders
* Current or previous ESB PICW authorisation requirements (CL1 & CL2 / Level E) and demonstrated ability to maintain safety standards
* Competency to work in substations (38kV to 400kV).
* Knowledge of construction practices and a commitment to high-quality execution
* Relevant certifications such as Safe Pass, Manual Handling, PICW Cl1 and/or Level E CL2, Lugs and others beneficial for site operations
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex on-site challenges
* A proactive approach to managing deadlines and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
