Project Coordinator - Water & Wastewater ?Location: Southeast & Midlands Type: Permanent Salary: €40k - €60k (experience depending) ?Gi Group is recruiting a Project Coordinator on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong organizational skills who wants to work on major utility projects across Ireland. ?The Role ?Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Project Coordinator will provide essential administrative and operational support from the initial project stages through to final handover. You will act as a central point of contact between site teams and management to ensure projects remain on schedule. ?Key Responsibilities ?Assist in the day-to-day delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. ?Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project flow. ?Prepare and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMS). ?Monitor and ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site. ?Support the completion of testing, commissioning, and final project handover documentation. ?Attend project progress meetings and provide updates to the management team. ?Requirements ?Previous experience in a coordination, supervisory, or project support role within the construction or utilities sector. Previous experience working in water or waste water as a Project Engineer or similar. (Uisce Eireann) ?Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. ?Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. ?Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project tracking software or CAD is an advantage but not required.
