Staff Grade Occupational Therapist
Full- time, Permanent

The Occupational Therapy Department at Bon Secours Hospital Cork is now inviting applications for the above post from a suitably qualified candidate. The Occupational Therapy department provides a service to the following clinical specialties including:
• Acute Medical Care
• Older Persons
• General surgery
• Neurology
• Oncology and Palliative Care
• Hand Therapy
• Rheumatology
Essential requirements:
• BSc (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent recognised and validated qualification in Occupational Therapy
• CORU registered
Desirable requirements:
• Post graduate experience in acute hospital setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Interdisciplinary team working
• Proven clinical and organisational skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Membership of Association of Occupational Therapists Ireland or equivalent occupational therapy professional body
The post holder will be required to work in any of the designated clinical specialities as directed by the Head of Department.
