Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based on the M28 Cork to Ringaskiddy Project, for an Earthworks Foreman. The Earthworks Foreman will oversee daily operations on the site, ensuring the works are executed according to specifications, safety standards, and programme. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating a team, managing heavy plant usage, maintaining quality control, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. This is a hands-on role requiring leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of earthworks and highways construction processes.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Supervisory Skills, including the ability to lead and manage a team effectively
* Experience in the operation and maintenance of Heavy Equipment commonly used in earthworks projects
* Strong Communication skills for liaising with team members, contractors, and clients
* Sound knowledge of health and safety guidelines in the construction industry
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
* Previous experience in earthworks or civil engineering projects is an essential
