Turmec is seeking a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team as an Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your engineering career with a leader in innovative recycling and manufacturing solutions.
This is a 3-year Level 6 apprenticeship combines classroom learning with real-world, on-the-job training.
* Turmec provides on-the-job training
* You will gain valuable mechanical, electrical and design skills.
* You will work on everything from engineering drawings, electrical and hydraulic systems.
* You will develop practical experience alongside our expert team.
* On successful completion, you will be awarded level 6 NFQ Advanced Certificate in OEM

* A team player with excellent communication skills
* Must be willing to travel for off-the-job training blocks
Key Requirements
One Of The Following Is Required
* Leaving Certificate (Pre-2017): Minimum D3 in five subjects including Maths
* Leaving Certificate (Post-2017): Minimum O6 in five subjects including Maths
* Level 5 Award: In an engineering discipline with Maths proficiency
* Pre-Apprenticeship Engineering Course: With Maths proficiency equivalent to O6
* Mature Applicants (23+): Or those with 3+ years OEM experience can apply via RPL (Recognised Prior Learning)
Additional Requirements
* Pass the Ishihara Colour Vision Test (24 Plate Addition)
* CEFR C1 Level English if it is not your first language
