IT ManagerRole SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and hands-onIT Managerto lead and manage the organisation's IT function in Ireland and UK.This role will be responsible for the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of IT systems and infrastructure, while supporting business operations and strategic projects.The IT Manager will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives, including the post implementation optimisation of a new ERP system, and will act as a trusted technical advisor to senior management.Roles And ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud-based systemsLead cyber security strategy, ensuring systems, data, and users are protected against threats and vulnerabilitiesOversee user access rights, permissions, and identity management across all systemsManage and support Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint and Power BI, to enable collaboration and data-driven decision-makingLead the post implementation optomisation of a new ERP system, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendorsProvide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure minimal downtime and high system performanceDevelop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentationManage IT vendors, service providers, and contractsEnsure compliance with GDPR, data protection, and relevant regulatory requirementsSupport business reporting and analytics through Power BI dashboards and data integrationsPlan and manage IT budgets, upgrades, and future technology roadmapsProvide leadership, guidance, and technical support to IT staff and end usersExperienceMinimum of 5 years' experience in an IT management or senior IT roleStrong hands-on experience with network management and infrastructureProven experience in cyber security, including risk management, system hardening, and incident responsePractical experience administering and supporting SharePoint environmentsExperience developing reports and dashboards using Power BIDemonstrated experience leading or supporting a new ERP implementation and post implementation optomisationStrong experience managing access rights, permissions, and user securityProven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issuesExperience working with external vendors and cross-functional internal teamsQualificationsDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related disciplineRelevant professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft, networking, cyber security) are highly desirableStrong knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements within Ireland/EUOngoing professional development in IT systems, cyber security, or enterprise applications is an advantage
