We are committed to building scalable next-gen software using AWS technologies. Our resiliency cloud is built on serverless technology, utilizing 20+ AWS services. We deliver Petabyte level storage solutions for top companies with industry-leading performance through a suite of SASS-enabled products.
We're looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. Go experience is required, but we also welcome candidates with backgrounds in Java and/or Python. As a Software Engineer, you'll develop server-side logic, define and maintain the central database, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop software modules for various system parts
2. Apply strong understanding of software engineering processes, including Agile methodologies, code reviews, and functional specifications
3. Maintain existing code-base, add features, fix bugs, and refactor code
4. Solve complex technical problems
5. Collaborate with team members and cross-functional product teams
6. Write well-designed, efficient, testable code
7. Understand data structures and development tools like version control, effort management, and compiling
8. Seek help when needed to resolve issues
9. Gather and understand requirements
10. Provide technical mentorship to team members
11. Show a passion to learn
12. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and assertiveness
13. Estimate work assigned
What We Are Looking For:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience with industry certifications
2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a software engineer
3. Proficiency in Go and/or Python
4. Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS)
5. Microservice development experience
6. Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
7. User authentication and authorization between systems, servers, and environments
8. Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
9. Fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
10. Differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop
11. Ability to create database schemas that represent business processes
12. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
13. Good understanding of code versioning tools like Git
