We are currently recruiting for an experienced finance professional to join our team as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert financial services and guidance. This is a full-time position with the option of a hybrid working week.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare annual financial statements, management accounts, and VAT returns for a range of clients
* Handle corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
* Perform bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
* Support partners in delivering advisory services to SMEs and sole traders
* Liaise directly with clients, providing timely responses to queries
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax legislation
* Assist with audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
* Maintain accurate, organised, and confidential client records
* Keep up to date with changes in accounting and tax regulations
Requirements:
* A recognised professional accountancy qualification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA (fully qualified or part-qualified, depending on the role)
* A relevant degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field (not always essential but common)
* Up-to-date CPD to maintain membership and stay current with regulations
