Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Liaison Specialist
This role requires a highly skilled professional to act as the primary point of contact between the main roadworks contractor and affected stakeholders. The successful candidate will liaise with land and property owners, the public, and the Local Authority in accordance with the IFA Agreement.
The individual appointed will be responsible for:
* Providing information to stakeholders affected by the project regarding proposed landtake, accommodation works, and statutory processes;
* Agreeing access to privately owned lands for contractors carrying out enabling works and surveys;
* Confirming that contractors have the necessary insurance in place to indemnify stakeholders in the event of personal injury or material damage;
* Determining the extent and quantum of compensation due to each affected stakeholder in cases of intrusive surveys;
* Agreeing the nature and extent of accommodation works required for inclusion in the project design and/or environmental evaluation;
* Assessing the accuracy of land ownership records held by the Local Authority and confirming these records with individual stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
* Essential Level 8 qualification in Engineering;
* More than 5 years' experience on roads projects;
* Liaison experience on a major infrastructure project with a construction value of at least €20 million (ex VAT);
* Holds a full Class B Driving licence.
