On behalf of our Aviation Client based in Shannon, Co Clare we are currently sourcing a Maintenance Manager to join their Team.
The Maintenance Manager’s prime responsibilities include:
* To manage the electrical, mechanical, and operative teams to ensure effective and efficient maintenance of the campus infrastructure to the highest safety and regulatory standards.
* Execute maintenance schedules according to priority, cost, timelines of tasks and compliance requirements.
* Conduct daily team meetings to delegate tasks to team members according to maintenance schedules.
* Manage and direct day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team, including the completion of required repairs, improvements and projects.
* Control of maintenance budgets including management of costs (in particular, overtime, repairs and renewal spend) and staffing levels.
* Maintain a priority system for managing company maintenance requests.
* Respond to Emergency Callouts as required.
* Collaborate closely with the Sustainability Team on energy cost optimization.
* Oversee service contracts and vendor relationships to ensure operational performance of critical systems.
* Develop reporting strategies for stakeholders at all levels to demonstrate progress in maintenance tasks completion.
* Promote safe work practices through the maintenance teams.
* Ensuring adherence to current safety certified specification and adherence to the safety management systems.
* Prepare tender documents for minor works.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5+ years’ proven experience in a maintenance management role with a strong electrical background.
* Excellent working knowledge and understanding of maintenance systems; BMS Systems, HVAC Systems, Electrical and Mechanical plant services and installations, Emergency Systems.
* Excellent working knowledge of PV and renewable energy systems.
* Excellent organisational skills/problem solving skills.
* Proven project and people management skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills/leadership skills.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete an Interview, Garda Vetting & Enhanced background check in accordance with requirements & pre-employment medical.
