Job Overview
Retail Catering Manager Job Ballina MayoThe role involves leading a team of 7-10 staff in a busy deli, bakery, coffee dock, kitchen area, and seating area. The shop is a driving distance from Foxford, Co Mayo and has a high footfall both weekdays and weekends. Flexibility is required, including weekends, with typical early shifts.
Responsibilities
Oversee the running of a busy deli, bakery, coffee dock, kitchen area, and seating area.
Responsible for up to 7 staff members, organising workload, directing work, and ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
Proper management of stock inventory.
Maintaining high levels of hygiene and HACCP records.
Maintaining the standards in line with company policies.
Ensuring your team is trained to a high level following company protocol.
Qualifications
Previous management experience working with fresh food, ordering stock, and accountable for waste, profits and budgets. 1-2 years as a Supervisor, senior deli staff member or manager considered.
Strong organisational skills, good communication, ability to motivate teams.
Ability to work both in a team and on own initiative, good problem‑solving, thrive on pressure.
Excellent understanding of food safety and HACCP management, passing audits.
Excellent customer service.
Salary and Contract
Salary will be dictacted based on experience, between €38,000 – €45,000 a year. 43‑hour contract (and also 40‑hour contact option available).
