Job Overview
This role involves providing high-quality physiotherapy services for patients with respiratory conditions, including those in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care.
* Lead and coordinate physiotherapy services for patients requiring critical care.
* Assess, diagnose, treat, and develop discharge plans for patients with respiratory conditions.
* Participate in review meetings, case conferences, ward rounds, and educational activities for staff and students.
* Contribute to teaching, training, supervision, evaluation of staff and students, and relevant practice educator courses.
Key Qualifications
* A recognized qualification as a Physiotherapist with CORU registration.
* A minimum of 3 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience, including at least 6 months recent experience within the ICU setting.
* Experience in respiratory care and tracheostomy care.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to respiratory care.
