Role: Payroll Implementations Consultant – Ireland / Fully Remote – €540 Per Day
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Consultant to support the deployment of a next-generation, cloud-based payroll calculation engine. This full-time, remote position will focus on delivering compliant, accurate, and efficient payroll solutions for clients in Ireland. The role will cover the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to configuration, testing, and go-live support.
Responsibilities
Act as the client-facing functional lead during project kick-offs and requirements discussions.
Capture and document payroll configuration details to finalise workbooks and system setup.
Configure and test the payroll solution in collaboration with the product team.
Validate payroll outputs, integrations, and data mapping across systems.
Manage defect resolution and support UAT, parallel testing, and go-live activities.
Identify deviations from standard processes and propose effective workarounds.
Provide knowledge transfer to payroll delivery and operational teams.
Contribute to project planning, status updates, and issue resolution.
Proven experience in payroll software implementation or consulting.
Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, tax, and compliance.
Hands-on experience with the Irish payroll project lifecycle.
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to articulate and document requirements clearly.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Flexibility to work in a dynamic, global environment.
Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
