Responsibilities
1. Bid and negotiate purchases for a variety of goods and services across multiple categories of spend including software, technology equipment, facility management/real estate related services, HR services, subscriptions, and general supplies.
2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors, providing solutions, support, and customer service
3. Negotiate contracts andmercial terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible pricing and service levels, while ensuring favorable legal terms andpliance withpany policies.
4. Ensure timely and accurate processing of requisitions and purchase orders
5. Identify opportunities for consolidation of suppliers and ways to enhance relationships with existing suppliers
6. Assist with the sourcing and onboarding of new vendors, ensuring adherence of all policies and procedures
7. Extract and analyze data to support the identification of cost savings, process efficiency, and risk mitigation opportunities.
8. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities.
Qualifications/Skills Required
9. Bachelor's Degree (business related)
10. 2+ years of indirect procurement experience
11. Sourcing and procurement experience in both technology and non-technology categories of spend
12. Driven, innovative, results-oriented and persistent with a positive attitude and high interest in problem solving.
13. Experience with Oracle or Procure-to-Pay systems
14. Excellentmunication skills, both oral and written
15. Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation to uncover relevant information and identify solutions.
16. Quick learner, detail oriented and strong ownership of work. Ability to establish working relationships with all levels of staff, management and vendors
17. Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a structured manner
18. Able to prioritize in a fast moving, constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency
19. Team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
