Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead the development, implementation and monitoring of our Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and monitor the FSMS, including HACCP and prerequisite programmes.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and customer standards.
* Conduct internal audits and drive effective close-outs.
* Investigate customer complaints and external non-conformances.
* Analyse Production Quality KPIs and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues.
* Apply Lean principles in daily problem-solving and root cause analysis.
* Proactively identify hazards and manage risks.
* Lead cross-functional projects and work closely with Production and Maintenance teams.
Requirements:
* Minimum recognised 3rd level qualification in a Food Science related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years+ Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in Food Manufacturing environment.
* Experience working with Quality Systems and demonstratable comprehensive knowledge of auditing, quality standards and systems.
