* Experience with solutions for traffic engineering resilience and fault tolerance for WAN Networking products.

* Master's degree, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
* Be the Subject Matter Expert on solutions for traffic engineering resilience and fault tolerance for WAN Networking products.
* Capable of separately charting out a roadmap for a new technical domain by collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and translating them into the right technical decisions, systems or infrastructure problems and solutions. Bring the capability to consider a problem from many perspectives.
* Design and develop new and innovative network features that will have direct and material impact on Google's traffic engineering behaviour.
* Contribute to team culture, from the ground up.
* Capable of clear communication and respectful collaboration. Work with multiple peers Tech Leads (TLs), Über Tech Leads (UTLs), and partners. Good communication and consensus building is critical to success.
