Key Responsibilities

* Credit Risk Management: Monitor and manage outstanding balances to ensure timely collection of overdue payments.

* Credit Application Review: Conduct thorough credit checks on new customers and set credit limits based on risk assessments.

* Debt Collection: Chase outstanding debts via phone, email, or letter, negotiate payment plans, and work with legal teams as necessary.
">
* Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment issues in a timely manner.
">
* Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly reports on overdue accounts, bad debts, and cash flow for the finance team.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications
">

* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (preferred).
">
* Proven experience as a Credit Controller, Debt Collector, or in a related role.
">
* Strong knowledge of credit management and collection procedures.
">
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
">
* Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult conversations.

* Strong organisational and time management skills.
">
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
