This is asecond line of defencerole, providing independent oversight of AML/CTF compliance across the branch's activities, reporting locally to the Branch Manager and functionally to the Group Head of Compliance.The role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced AML professional to take on theirfirst PCF responsibility, while still working within a collaborative and supportive international group structure.Key ResponsibilitiesPCF-52 Oversight: Act as the designated AML/CTF Officer for the branch, responsible for ensuring compliance with the Criminal Justice Acts, CBI expectations, and Group global standards.Framework Ownership: Maintain and enhance the AML/CTF framework, including policy, risk assessments, monitoring plans, procedures and internal controls.Client Due Diligence: Oversee AML onboarding and ongoing KYC/refresh reviews for investment fund clients and counterparties, including complex structures and beneficial ownership.Transaction Monitoring: Ensure robust processes for detection, escalation and investigation of suspicious activity.SAR/STR Reporting: File Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to FIU Ireland and liaise with relevant authorities as needed.Regulatory Engagement: Act as the primary AML/CTF contact for the Central Bank of Ireland during inspections and correspondence.Risk Assessment & Governance: Lead risk assessments, complete the annual AML Risk Evaluation Questionnaire, and prepare MI for senior management and the Board.Training & Awareness: Deliver AML/CTF training to staff, embedding a strong compliance culture.Audit & Testing: Support internal audit, testing, and remediation activities.Cross-Border Collaboration: Align with Group AML teams to ensure consistency across jurisdictions.Candidate Profile10+ years' experience in AML/CTF roles within financial services.Strong expertise in AML frameworks applicable to banking, custody, or fund services.Experience supporting or deputising for a PCF/SMF/MLRO function — ready to take the step up into a PCF role .Deep knowledge of Irish AML legislation, CBI expectations, and the Fitness & Probity regime.Strong understanding of fund structures, beneficial ownership, and complex client onboarding.Proven track record in transaction monitoring, SAR/STR reporting, and regulatory interaction.Excellent judgement, communication and stakeholder management skills.Degree in Law, Business, Risk or related discipline; professional certification (CAMS, ICA Diploma) strongly preferred.Why Join FundBank?Step into your first PCF role with the support of an established compliance framework.Take ownership of a regulated AML/CTF framework at a growing, dynamic financial institution.Work with an elite client base in the global investment fund industry.Join a culture that values initiative, ownership and innovation.Hybrid working model, competitive package, and strong career progression.
