Our client, a global leader in medical technology, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their expanding Pharmacy Automation team.
This team is focused on developing advanced solutions including robotic systems, packaging and dispensing technologies, and enterprise software to improve medication management across healthcare settings.
This role is suited to an experienced engineer with a strong background in systems engineering, electromechanical integration, and product development within regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Define, design, and verify complex systems integrating hardware and software components
Derive product requirements from user needs and develop high-level system specifications
Conduct risk assessments including dFMEA and contribute to hazard analysis
Lead verification and validation activities, including protocol development and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across mechanical, software, reliability, and quality engineering
Support transition from R&D to manufacturing and provide field troubleshooting expertise
Apply Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and product development best practices
Develop subsystem workflow logic and contribute to theory of operation documentation
Liaise with quality and reliability functions to support compliance and testing
Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science
Minimum 6 years experience in systems engineering, medical device design, or robotics
Proven experience in requirements management, systems integration, and testing
Skilled in experimental design, data analysis, and statistical methods
Familiarity with DFSS, dFMEA, and design control processes (Agile or Waterfall)
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional, global teams
Experience in outpatient, retail, or central pharmacy environments is a plus
