Behaviour Specialist Job Summary
We are seeking a Behaviour Specialist to join our team in supporting individuals with complex needs.
Job Description:
The Behaviour Specialist will be responsible for conducting functional assessments and developing multi-element behaviour support plans (MEBSPs) to support individuals with their behaviour, teach new skills and improve overall quality of life.
* Conduct daily Functional Assessments as required.
* Develop MEBSPs in collaboration with relevant others.
* Oversee the implementation and monitoring of each MEBSP.
* Provide training to front-line staff on Positive Behaviour Support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualification: Psychology Degree or equivalent.
* Knowledge: Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
* Experience: Two years minimum experience within a similar role or health/social care setting.
