Financial Operations Manager
A reputable organization is seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to oversee its financial activities.
The ideal candidate will manage core financial functions, including invoicing, creditors and debtors, financial reporting, and budgeting.
This role plays a pivotal part in processing invoices and financial transactions, reconciling bank accounts, managing VAT returns, preparing end-of-year accounts, and assisting with business performance analysis and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and reconcile financial transactions, including invoices and credit/debit notes.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of creditors, debtors, and financial reports.
* Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and VAT returns.
* Support the finance team in financial analysis and forecasting.
* Contribute to broader business and operational decision-making processes.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Financial Operations role.
* Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (Accounting Technician or higher).
* Experience working with SAGE Accounts or similar accounting software.
* Strong knowledge of financial processes including creditors, debtors, invoicing, and reporting.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
