Description
Technical SME for EMEIA covering different Local GAAPs across 31 countries
Preparation of Disclosure Checklists across various EMEIA countries
Preparation of detailed GAAP assessments bridging from US GAAP to Local GAAP across 31 EMEIA countries
Preparation of Technical Accounting memos and papers / opinions
Expert in IFRS reporting
Assist the R2R team in all external audits, including tax audits from governmental agencies.
Overall financial accounting responsibility for a number of EMEIA entities.
Responsible for ensuring processes are compliant for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
Ensure appropriate systems, processes, tools and business relationships exist to enable effective legal entity controllership and compliance.
Support GBS initiatives and ad-hoc projects as requested.
Develop with the role to expand responsibilities within the GBS organisation.
Established a strong control environment to ensure we were compliant against the regulatory requirements in the countries we operate in;

Minimum Qualifications
Qualified Accountant with strong technical experience across US GAAP, IFRS and EMEIA specific GAAPs
5 Years + post qualification experience.
SAP Experience.
Statutory financial statements experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Business acumen, strong business partnering skills and aware- ness of the big picture
Identify issues and drive to resolution on a timely basis.
Ability to build effective relationships.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, problem solving, project management, communication skills required.
