With over 130 professionals and growing, Galetech is committed to sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence.Role Overview:The Parts & Logistics Support Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that wind turbine technicians spend more time on turbines and less time collecting parts. This role is responsible for supporting remote stores, managing and moving parts accurately, and delivering them where needed in a timely manner. In addition, the role will support managers and technicians with general logistics, including transporting people, vehicles, and equipment as business needs require, as well as assisting technicians with vehicle-related issues when needed.By doing so, the role directly supports higher turbine availability and maximises the utilisation of our field technicians.Key Responsibilities:Support remote stores by managing and tracking inventory with accuracy.Secure, control, and monitor parts movements to protect inventory value and availability.Deliver and collect parts using a company vehicle (small van) to and from sites, stores, or suppliers.Ensure timely delivery of parts to field teams to reduce downtime and increase turbine uptime.Provide accurate stock control and support regular stock takes.Record and update parts movements in line with company systems and processes.Respond flexibly to operational requirements - this role is driven by field and business needs rather than fixed weekly plans.Work closely with operations teams, logistics, and stores to ensure correct parts are available at the right time.Support after-hours or flexible working when required by urgent operational needs.Provide wider logistics support to the business as required, including transporting people, tools, or specialist equipment to/from sites.Support technicians with vehicle issues (e.g., breakdowns, transport to/from garages, or collection of replacement vehicles).Skills & ExperienceExperience in logistics, warehousing, or field support (preferred).Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.Full, clean driving licence (essential).Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with field and operations teams.Practical problem-solving skills, especially under time pressure.Basic IT skills for logging deliveries and updating stock control systems.Why This Role MattersIncrease technician utilisation by reducing time spent on collections.Improve turbine uptime by ensuring parts are available and delivered quickly.Provide tighter control of valuable inventory, protecting both cost and availability.Ensure accurate, real-time visibility of stock movements to support operational decisions.Provide managers and technicians with reliable support across transport, logistics, and equipment handling, ensuring they remain focused on higher-value tasks.Galetech Group are an equal opportunities employer.
