We are now seeking a day
Maintenance Technician
to join our team. The facility operates on a 24/5 schedule. This position requires working days from Monday to Friday, with an on-call rotation for handling out-of-hours breakdowns.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of production equipment, utilities, and systems, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety, and regulatory requirements. This role requires expertise in both mechanical and electrical disciplines, boilers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), troubleshooting faults, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager and provides effective and efficient maintenance of all site-wide Processing & Utilities Systems/Equipment in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Health & Safety Standards.
Main Responsibilities And Tasks
* Planning and execution of Corrective, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance work orders as required ensuring the maximum level of utilization from equipment on site.
* Meeting KPI's with targeted improvement year on year with specific focus required on Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety and Work Order KPI's.
* Provide technical support for all equipment systems (Production, Utilities, Tank Farm).
* Responsible for organizing, overseeing, and assisting engineering service providers and suppliers while on site as required. This includes Method Statement & Risk Assessment approval and permit issuing.
* Completion and maintenance of all relevant documentation associated to Plant and Equipment to cGMP and Engineering Best Practice standards.
* Utility Start Up/Shutdown and Utility Operational Checks / Building Management Systems (BMS) Performance Analysis.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience in a highly regulated industry, such as Pharmaceuticals, API, Biotechnology, or Medical Devices. Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, or TPM is beneficial. Certification in Hazardous Area Equipment (EX) or ATEX compliance is a plus. Strong IT skills, including SCADA, PCS, BMS, and automated systems are essential. Maintenance experience on boilers and utilities is preferred.
