Technical Records Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Records Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engine documentation, creating reports, and maintaining records in various databases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage engine short-term documentation, including Operations Lease and Lease Pool Induction engine records.
* Create Lease Return Discrepancy Reports and manage documentation file structures.
* Update various record systems and Weekly Tracker reports.
* Attend weekly conference calls with stakeholders and review customer-supplied documentation for accuracy.
* Communicate with customers and external parties to resolve issues with paperwork.
* Review aircraft engine current and historical paperwork, including Back to Birth reviews of Life Limited Parts.
* Communicate with vendors to resolve issues with LLP documentation.
* Liaise with customers, technical consultants, stakeholders, and internal departments to create MSD packs.
* Proof and amend documentation as necessary to complete MSD packages.
* Use Original Engine Manufacturer's Manuals and Service Documentation to review Life Limited Cycle Restrictions.
* Stay up-to-date with new Critical Airworthiness Directives relevant to the role.
* Use specialized computer databases containing live and archived engine/component records.
* Assist other engineering teams as needed.
Requirements:
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
* Thorough approach to work with high attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong analytical skills and technical understanding required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in teams and willingness to enrol in training and travel as necessary.
* Excellent MS Office skills and experience with MS Excel and MS Outlook.
* Aircraft and/or aircraft engine knowledge an advantage.
