Supply Chain Planner Role Overview
This critical position within the EMEA Customer Supply Chain focuses on planning and coordinating shipments into the region, ensuring visibility and compliance with country-specific requirements.
1. Plan and execute shipments into EMEA, considering business and country requirements related to freight forwarding.
2. Communicate effectively with management, customer services, and international transport teams to ensure seamless operations.
3. Maintain a country mapping reference guide for easy reference by all cross-functional teams.
4. Align with other entities to optimize logistics and distribution processes.
5. Forecast volumes for key orders and create delivery plans to meet customer expectations.
6. Provide visibility to the commercial team and finance team on shipment status to support revenue recognition forecast and customer-facing communication.
7. Ensure trade compliance is met for EMEA countries and manage embargo country compliance.
8. Understand product requirements for shipping, including validated boxes and data loggers.
9. Support customer service teams with distribution-related solutions and collaborate with commercial excellence teams on lead times and distribution information.
10. Execute and manage allocation/rationing processes within CWH and drive process improvement projects to meet customer expectations.
