We're looking for a Head of HR to take ownership of the HR function and lead a high-performing team to deliver excellence across all areas of the employee experience.
The ROLE: Head of HR - Strategic Leadership Role Location: Cork/Longford Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm Type: Full-time, Office-Based (Travel will be required) As Head of HR, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's culture, performance, and growth.
You will manage a dedicated team of two HR Managers and a team of HR Assistants, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure excellence across all areas of HR.
Lead and deliver the company's HR strategy, aligned with business objectives.
Oversee employee relations, industrial relations, and union negotiations.
Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals.
Partner with senior leadership on talent development, workforce planning, and succession.
Oversee learning and development initiatives to build capability across the organisation.
Lead salary and benefits negotiations in line with company policy and market trends.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice HR policies.
Drive employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
About YOU: Extensive experience in a senior HR role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven track record in industrial relations and collaborating with trade unions.
Confident leader with experience managing and developing a multi-tiered HR team.
Demonstrated success in learning and development, organisational design, and change management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Confident operating at both strategic and operational levels.
