Supervisor, Operations

Main Responsibilities
* Lead a production team to achieve targets for quality, service, costs, and people development.
* Communicate and deploy quality standards and objectives, ensuring their achievement.
* Prioritize production to meet customer requirements and maintain inventory levels, managing output levels and communicating with the team.
* Prepare team members for success through training, coaching, feedback, and support.
* Create a positive work environment and facilitate engagement within the production team and cross-functional teams.
* Provide timely feedback and reviews, addressing performance issues in a constructive, fair, and prompt manner.
* Foster open communication regarding individual, team, and company performance through regular meetings and daily interactions.
* Collaborate with training to develop and implement training curricula and team training plans.
* Participate in the selection and hiring of Production Operators.
* Maintain high GMP / 6S standards within the department by engaging all team members.
* Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities, such as Lean/Cost Reduction initiatives.
* Ensure Time and Attendance system compliance and effective Annual Leave and Overtime planning.
* Provide leadership and direction for advancing Lean Manufacturing.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Degree or Master's in Business, Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience.
* Strong knowledge of production principles, practices, and procedures.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, consulting with leaders on unusual matters.
* Leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction within a cross-functional team.
* Excellent computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Good understanding of GMP/FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
* Interest in investing in people and facilitating individual and team engagement and development.
* Ability to coach, provide effective feedback, and manage performance.
* Problem-solving methodology experience, with process knowledge desirable.
* Able to interpret and analyze information, translating it into operational actions.
* Excellent influencing and communication skills.
