About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Principal Architect to lead our residential development projects in Ireland.
The ideal candidate will oversee the delivery of multiple diverse and challenging projects, collaborating with contractors, consultants, and clients. Key Responsibilities include:
* Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD & Revit.
* Produce 2D and 3D drawings, models, presentation boards, and documentation.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop and coordinate technical solutions.
* Prepare planning applications and ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, including BC(A)R standards.
* Assist in obtaining approvals from planning authorities where relevant.
* Attend internal and external meetings, take minutes/notes, and follow up on action points.
* Liaise with members of the external design team and other stakeholders as required.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards.
* Resolve technical and design issues efficiently and effectively.
* Maintain project documentation and support project management tasks where required.
* Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and remain updated with design tools, regulations, and emerging industry practices.
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Architecture with 2/3 years+ post-graduate experience.
* Previous project experience in large-scale residential housing and apartment developments.
* Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Self-motivated and ambitious
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with BIM processes and software.
* Familiarity with sustainable design principles and certifications.
* Experience across various project stages, from concept to completion.
* Knowledge of planning policies and procedures.
