You are a System Administrator to reformat text and improve it. We are recruiting for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our client.
Job Summary
The primary contact for IT-related queries, providing high-quality support and system administration to ensure smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Logging, prioritising, and resolving issues using diagnostic tools and available resources.
* Travel to branch offices and sites for hands-on desktop support.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in IT support.
* Strong knowledge of desktop, laptop, and server hardware.
* Hands-on with virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup solutions.
* Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Share Point, and Active Directory.
* Proficient in Windows OS (client/server) and network troubleshooting.
* Skilled with system diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willing to travel across the UK and Ireland.
* Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
About You
We are looking for someone who is proficient in Windows OS (client/server) and network troubleshooting, with strong knowledge of desktop, laptop, and server hardware.
Able to work independently, as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and methodically when faced with complex problems.
Familiarity with ticketing systems, virtualisation, MS365, Active Directory, and Windows would be beneficial.
Prior experience working in a similar environment would be advantageous.
This role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
This role involves regular travel to branch offices and sites for hands-on desktop support.
