Responsibilities
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is essential.
Design of HVAC systems, piping, and mechanical containment.
Performing calculations for system sizing, load analysis, and energy efficiency.
Preparation of detailed mechanical design drawings (ductwork, piping layouts, equipment installation, etc.).
Reviewing and verifying mechanical drawings for accuracy and compliance.
Conducting site visits, liaising with clients, and coordinating with mechanical contractors.
Estimating project costs, including completed and additional works as necessary.
Requirements
The successful Mechanical Engineer will have a degree qualification in Building Services
4+ years of Mechanical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit
Proven experience of delivering detailed designs through the full design cycle.
Excel at working on several projects simultaneously and show the ability to prioritise and plan work.
Commercial sector knowledge/experience.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience will be advantageous.
