This position covers all aspects of quantity surveying from project inception to completion, including cost management, contract administration, and commercial risk oversight. This role involves close collaboration with design teams, ESB partners, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCost management function throughout all phases of a projectPreparation of Order of Magnitude Costs and tender documentationTender assessment and evaluationPost Contract Commercial Management and Cost ReportingPromote and play an active role in the safety management culture across all activities by taking ownership and demonstrating visible commitment to safety.Experience and QualificationsEssential Level 8 Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.Minimum Quantity Surveying experience of 3 years (Post Qualification)The demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.Good commercial and project management skillsGood safety awareness and communication skillsValid driver's license for ROI, access to a car, and flexibility to travel nationwideDesirable Experience in the use of Cubit software.Experience in Civil Engineering and / or utility or linear infrastructure projects Experience in FIDIC Conditions of ContractLocation This position will be based in ESB E&MP's Offices in Dublin or Eastgate Cork.ESB is committed to smart working – combining digital tools with a culture of trust and empowerment to enable flexible ways of working.
