The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Associate specialising in Commercial law
including Commercial, Data Protection & Digital Regulation to join
our fast-growing team in Dublin.
Bird & Bird's commercial team in Ireland specialises in
contracts, data protection, and digital regulation. We draft and
advise on commercial contracts, especially those involving IP,
technology, and digital services, with a focus on the technology,
media, entertainment, and life sciences sectors. Our team also guides
clients in regulatory matters, and these can touch on data, consumer
protection, AI, digital regulation, media, or cybersecurity.
Experience working with regulators and clients in our key sectors is desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge to assist our
clients, across a range of technically complex industries. There will
be an abundance of opportunities for career development within our
fast-growing team in Dublin.

What you'll do
As a member of this growing team and office the individual will be
expected to:
* advise on commercial contracts, particular those with IP, tech or
digital services as their subject matter with a focus on technology,
media, entertainment and life sciences sectors.
* apply their experience to provide an excellent commercial advisory
service to our clients.
* Assist clients in their interactions with regulators.
* Work with colleagues across the globe to deliver best in class
work and results.
* assist the Commercial Partners in managing the rapid growth of the
practice; and
* support the strategic objectives of the firm.
The firm expects associates to advise in a way that supports our
client's strategic objectives, whilst being practical and commercial.
