Post specific related information includes: Candidates must demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the assessment and management of adults with complex intellectual disability +/- Autism and/or physical disability, including individuals with complex disability-related needs, mobility, postural, or sensory needs relevant to the role. Applicants must demonstrate experience in trauma-informed and person-centred clinical practice, recognising the impact of trauma, communication differences, and sensory processing needs on engagement with therapy and participation in daily life. Candidates should demonstrate experience working within a multidisciplinary team operating within an interdisciplinary model of care supporting individuals with complex and high support needs, contributing to integrated assessment, care planning, and coordinated interventions. Applicants must demonstrate experience delivering nursing services in community-based settings, including collaboration with families, carers, residential services, and community providers, and supporting capacity building for staff and carers. Candidates should demonstrate experience contributing to evidence-based research, clinical governance, service development, quality improvement initiatives, and practice education within disability services or similar complex services.
