NEW BUSINESS ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE My client, a global leader in enterprise application software, is seeking a New Business Account Executive to drive net-new revenue across the Services sector, focusing on Public Sector, Hi-Tech, and Insurance clients. The role is based remotely anywhere in Ireland, with significant travel required. You will own the full sales cycle from building an initial pipeline to closing complex deals supported by a BDR team in mainland Europe and an established partner ecosystem. Joining a high-performing team of 89 peers, youll manage a comparable territory and quota, with an annual revenue target of approximately €2.5 million. Typical pipeline build-cycles range from 69 months, with deal closures in 312 months. This position suits a commercially driven, self-starting professional with ERP or SaaS sales experience and the ability to thrive in a complex, consultative environment. Responsibilities Build and manage a qualified pipeline from zero, executing targeted territory plans and segmenting roughly 1,000 accounts into actionable prospects. Generate new opportunities through direct outreach, collaboration with BDRs, and partner channels. Develop and execute campaigns and go-to-market strategies to maximise territory coverage. Lead opportunities from qualification to close, leveraging presales and solution experts to craft compelling proposals. Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasting, and CRM hygiene while applying digital sales motions to drive efficiency. Engage customers through value-based selling, ensuring their needs are met and business outcomes delivered. Collaborate internally and externally to enhance execution and continually develop expertise in ERP, Cloud, AI, and process automation. Requirements 35 years experience in new-business, quota-carrying software or technology sales. Demonstrated success in pipeline creation and closing complex B2B deals. Experience collaborating with partners and BDR or inside-sales teams. ERP, SaaS, or digital-transformation sales background preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. High energy, resilience, and a self-driven approach. Willingness to travel extensively across Ireland. Desirable Experience with vendors such as Oracle, Workday, Microsoft, Infor, Epicor, or DocuSign. Background in startup or high-growth technology environments.
