We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Specialist to lead and execute key human resources functions in a Fully licensed Payment Institution (PI) in Central Dublin, Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of payments by building a high-performing, engaged, and talented team in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly evolving market.
As part of their innovative fintech startup, you will focus on driving scalable, efficient HR processes and fostering a secure and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for both technical and non-technical roles.
* Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
* Leverage innovative sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, job boards, networking, etc.) to build strong talent pipelines.
* Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, setting them up for long-term success.
* Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote retention and job satisfaction.
* Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews, providing insights for continuous improvement.
* Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures and programs in compliance with Irish labor laws and regulations.
* Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, benefits, and employee relations.
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing company culture aligned with our values.
* Work on employer branding initiatives to position our company as a top employer in the fintech industry.
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
* Monitor and analyze HR metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, employee turnover rates) to provide actionable insights.
* Support the implementation of HR technology and tools to enhance efficiency.
* Work closely with the finance and payment teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries, bonuses, and benefits.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or similar role, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment.
* Strong expertise in recruitment, with a track record of hiring for technical and non-technical positions.
* Experience handling payroll and employee payments, with knowledge of Irish labor laws and tax regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Proactive and resourceful problem-solver with a hands-on approach.
* High level of organization, attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively.
* Proficiency in HR software, recruitment platforms and payroll systems.
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
