Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
The role of this position involves assessing, researching and documenting student learning in part-time computing programmes offered by the School of Computing. The successful candidate will provide support for students on various academic matters, including technical and non-technical subjects.
Main responsibilities include:
* Providing tutorials and lectures to groups and individuals
* Creating online resources, tutorials and lectures as necessary
* Identifying and supporting students with learning difficulties in collaboration with Student Services
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, be able to manage time effectively and demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude. A Master's level qualification in a relevant subject area is desirable.
This position requires flexibility and adaptability, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.
