We are seeking a highly skilled Stock Controller/Stock Replenishment Executive to join our clients in Carrigtwohill, County Cork. This is a full-time permanent position, working with a multinational company that operates in various locations throughout Ireland.
Job Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate inventory records for fast-moving items, ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing stock discrepancies.
* Provide professional quotes to customers, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
* Resolve day-to-day customer inquiries promptly and efficiently, offering solutions and alternatives when necessary.
* Source high-quality parts from local suppliers, negotiating prices and lead times to meet business objectives.
* Collect parts from suppliers, verifying quality and quantity before returning them to the warehouse.
* Perform general administrative tasks as required, supporting the wider team in achieving their goals.
* Manage customer orders from initial inquiry to delivery, ensuring seamless communication and timely fulfillment.
* Develop and maintain efficient management reports, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
* Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, optimizing costs and improving relationships.
* Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering trust and cooperation to drive mutual success.
* Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of ERP systems, guaranteeing up-to-date information and streamlined processes.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
* Profound knowledge of MRO and engineering consumables, including products and services offered by the company.
* Excellent sales and customer relationship development skills, with a proven track record of building strong partnerships.
* Demonstrated negotiation and purchasing expertise, securing the best possible deals for the business.
* Methodical and organized approach, with a deep understanding of management systems and processes.
* A current driving license, enabling travel to and from supplier sites as necessary.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and other relevant software applications.
