Were seeking an experienced Truck Router/Coordinator to join our road transport team.
Role Overview: As a Truck Router/Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and maximizing truck movements daily.
Youll work both independently and collaboratively to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, delivering outstanding service to our customers and supporting our drivers.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and maximize daily truck routing and movements Issue accurate delivery and collection instructions to drivers to ensure on-time performance Manage trucking orders from customers using our FMS computerized transport system Follow up on bookings to ensure customer satisfaction and completion Ensure compliance with road transport haulage legal requirements and tachograph legislation Manage drivers hours according to current regulations Maintain knowledge of geographical routes in Cork County and the wider Munster area Develop strong relationships with drivers, customers, and stakeholders Implement and maintain effective working practices to keep the road transport department efficient Take full ownership of all aspects of the role Requirements: Proven experience in daily routing and truck movement maximization Strong initiative and ability to work independently Knowledge of road transport legislation and tachograph regulations Familiarity with transport management systems (FMS) Good geographical knowledge of Cork and Munster routes Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Benefits: Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) Full-time, permanent position with regular working hours Supportive team environment How to Apply: Please send your CV by clicking APPLY below.
