The Mental Health Commission seeks a Financial Specialist to oversee financial supervision and investigation.
As a Professional Accountant Grade II, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to team members on complex cases and queries.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical oversight and expertise for financial supervision and investigation
* Oversight of quality-of-service delivery
* Reviewing financial reports and accounts submitted by decision supporters as required
* Guiding and directing HEOs, EOs, and COs on their team/escalation point for complex cases and queries
* Monitoring compliance with operational policies and identifying opportunities for process/ICT system improvement
* Making clear, timely, and well-grounded decisions on applications for pre-approval for remuneration
* Managing the MyExpenses system for panel member expenses
* Ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place for the management and processing of invoices
* Liasing with internal and external stakeholders
* Maintaining up-to-date records on case files
* Supporting the development of policies and management reports to support service delivery
