Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our Data Center projects team. This role is based in Leixlip, Ireland, and will involve working closely with the project manager and construction team.
EHS Responsibilities
As a Health and Safety Professional, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting the EHS Manager in achieving Suir's Critical Success Factor 1: 'To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation.'
* Working effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team with the implementation of the Integrated Management System.
* Ensuring the site is adequately set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
* Becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir's High Risk Activities (HRA's) and ensuring that they are identified and effectively controlled on site.
* Assisting with the development of Risk Assessment & Method Statements.
* Assisting with the development of SOP's and providing training and communication to site personnel.
* Reporting and Investigating incidents when they occur and ensuring root causes are identified, mitigated and communicated.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant Health and Safety Diploma/Degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience in an Environmental Health and Safety role.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* The ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines together with a high attention to detail.
* The ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
* The enjoyment of working as part of a high-performing team.
