Night Supervisor Role
The Night Supervisor is a full-time position based on-site at The Park Hotel in Dungarvan. This role involves overseeing the operations of the hotel during the night and ensuring the security and safety of guests.
Main Responsibilities:
* Report all potential and real hazards immediately to relevant authorities.
* Ensure a thorough understanding of hotel policies and procedures.
* Regularly inspect all areas of the hotel, recording any irregularities and reporting them to Heads of Departments and maintenance staff.
* Maintain secure access to the hotel according to hotel policy and procedure.
* Be fully aware of fire and emergency procedures within the hotel.
* Attend all necessary training sessions on fire, health, and safety protocols.
* Ensure team members are trained and compliant with Health & Safety legislation.
* Adhere strictly to existing laws and hotel policies & procedures to ensure guest safety and property protection.
* Maintain an awareness of Health and Safety considerations for all tasks and activities undertaken.
* Complete accident/incident reports and distribute them to relevant departments promptly.
* Record unusual occurrences or problems for the next day's Duty Manager attention and take appropriate action.
* Communicate effectively with the Front Office Day team to maintain consistent service standards throughout the hotel 24 hours a day.
* Ensure guest areas and offices are always clean and tidy as a team.
* Clean public area carpets regularly, with additional cleaning as required.
* Check in late arrivals and check out early departures according to hotel procedures.
* Make wake-up calls promptly.
* Take room service orders, prepare food and drinks, and deliver them to guests.
* Provide bar service after late shift team members have finished their shift.
* Handle cashing up according to existing hotel SOPs.
* Assist guests with requests, such as information, making bookings, or directions.
* Ensure all tasks are completed on each shift and conduct a thorough handover at the end of the shift.
Qualifications:
* 1 year of experience working in hotel night shift operations and handling customer complaints/inquiries.
* Proficiency in hotel reservation and payment systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications (desirable).
* First aid, Defib & manual handling training completed (desirable).

Schedule:
