My client is a leading Civil Engineering company in Ireland and The UK and due to their ongoing growth and a large pipeline of future projects, they are looking for an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Dublin.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Duties:Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring policies comply with local regulationsConduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazardsEnsure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standardsAbility to lead and motivate a teamPerformance management and strong team delivery.Ensure employees are aware of and understand safety protocolsLead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actionsMaintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activitiesStaying up to date with health and safety regulationsLiaise with the client and regulatory bodies on health, safety, and environmental mattersProvide regular updates and reports on safety performance and compliance metrics to senior leadership teamRequirements:Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and best practicesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead and motivate a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety management softwareCompetent report writing skills for submission to Senior Leadership teamBachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related fieldFull Irish Driving LicenceIf you are interested in applying for this role, please click the link below or send your CV to
