About This Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work with large-scale distributed systems, combine software and systems engineering to build and run massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. You will ensure that services have reliability, uptime appropriate to users' needs and a fast rate of improvement.
You will be part of an organization that brings together people with a wide variety of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We encourage collaboration, think big and take risks in a blame-free environment.
We promote self-direction to work on meaningful projects, while we also strive to create an environment that provides the support and mentorship needed to learn and grow.
Run and defend the durability, integrity, and efficiency of planet-scale storage fleet. Namespaces SRE supports cluster-level filesystems, as well as services supporting a global namespace with data replication between clusters. These services underpin nearly every product area and are a mission critical area for Google and its Cloud and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) strategies.
