Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Biology and Environmental Science Postdoctoral Researcher in Comparative and Functional Genomics of Heat Stress Response.
Heat waves are a major driver of mass mortality under anthropogenic global warming.
However, many widely used heat-stress biomarkers reflect general stress responses rather than heat-specific processes.
This project will investigate the extent to which heat stress elicits shared (conserved) versus species-specific (idiosyncratic) genomic responses.
Fixed Salary: €46,305 per annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
