Job Title: Specification Manager
A new project-based position has arisen where you will be responsible for winning specs, writing them up, and ensuring the Inside Sales Team is equipped to see them through to completion with Contractors & End Users.
This role involves:
* Winning specs, writing them up, and collaborating with the Inside Sales Team to see them through to completion with Contractors & End Users.
* Managing a pipeline of projects and overseeing long sales cycles.
* Conducting CPD seminars both virtually and in person.
The Specification Manager will have access to the internal sales team in the UK to generate leads and will be required to travel to the UK for meetings with the team and senior management on a monthly basis.
This role will likely see you work from home 2-3 days per week, and on the road the rest of the week.
We are seeking an individual who possesses an appreciation of the specification sales process in construction and has experience selling to Main-Contractors. The ideal candidate should also have sold a product rather than a service and possess a consultative, driven and professional approach to sales, with good attention to detail.
An understanding of commercial projects in the construction sector or washroom experience would be desirable but not essential.
