Job Summary
The Lead R&D Engineer will be responsible for spearheading cross-functional teams in Ireland and internationally, driving the development of medical device products from inception to market-ready innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development, with a proven track record of innovative thinking and leadership skills.
* Representing R&D on New Product Development project teams, fostering collaboration and driving results-oriented solutions.
* Identifying and researching new ideas and technologies/materials to propel product development.
* Sourcing and selecting materials and components that meet quality and regulatory standards.
* Developing product specifications and test methods, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
* Providing technical expertise and support to other functions, driving business growth and expansion.
* Managing project schedules and risk analysis, prioritizing tasks and resources to achieve strategic objectives.
