Job Role Overview
An Engineering Administrative Assistant is sought to provide administrative support to the Engineering department, ensuring effective communication and documentation management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day administrative tasks within the Engineering department, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
* Assist in reviewing, updating, and distributing engineering procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the issuance, tracking, and retention of engineering documents, guaranteeing accurate and secure storage.
* Support procurement processes and manage requisitions and purchase orders, streamlining operations and minimizing delays.
* Maintain and organize the QA Document Room, facilitating easy access to essential information.
* Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate training schedules, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience with procurement processes and PO administration, demonstrating expertise in inventory management and budget control.
* Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
* A relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related discipline, indicating a strong foundation in technical principles and business practices.
