Senior Construction Planner Job Description
As a Senior Construction Planner, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
You will work closely with management teams to produce comprehensive contract programmes and project schedules. Your ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions will be essential in this role.
* Prepare pre-tender, tender, and post-tender submission documentation such as critical path programmes, project execution plans, flow charts, and labour histograms.
* Assist management teams with the production of comprehensive contract programmes and project schedules.
* Provide regular project progress reports and analysis, reviewing and advising on subcontractor programmes.
* Work independently and in multidisciplinary teams, providing training and technical support on planning software and other systems.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and drawings.
* Maintain project progress reports and analysis, producing projections, variance reports, and other documentation.
* Implement tracking schedules to maintain information and control subcontractor programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Appropriate professional qualifications, ideally in engineering.
* 6+ years of relevant planning experience in the construction industry across a range of project types.
* Excellent IT systems knowledge, including experience in programming software such as P6 and MS Project.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

The salary for this position is €60K-€80K negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
